Abdul Latif Choudhury College was established on 08th March, 1996 under the initiative of the then Cabinet Minister of Assam and son of the soil, Late Sahidul Alom Choudhury as well as with the co-operation of local inhabitants of North Hailakandi. It is a premier institute of higher education in North Hailakandi Constituency, providing quality education for students from the surrounding tea gardens, rural areas as well as neighboring districts. The college has two streams Arts and Commerce, for spreading education in true sense to all sections of the society. This institution is very much committed for the educational upliftment of the society as a whole.
